All I Know...

There are days when I look around my and my heart bursts and I'm soaked in the joy of the Lord as I thank Him for every breath that slips through the lips of my precious baby boy, for every glance from the eyes of my husband, for every whisper of air that fills my lungs and lets me live another moment of this blessed existence.

When I know, even though it terrifies me with its overwhelming hugeness, that eternity will be even better.

And that it will not end.

It's *almost* every day that He gives me moments and hours like that.

And I whisper "thank you" and I know that "thank you" isn't enough and I pray that somehow I earn a few jewels for that bare bit of metal that's currently waiting for me to lay at His feet when my life here ends.

No. To everybody who's expecting this post to bring news of another pregnancy. Nope. Not. Aren't. Isn't.

Still.

But we've made some progress in finding some reasons for my "unexplained infertility" and we're confident that some lifestyle changes we're making will improve our chances.

And if you're wondering why I wear huge, poncho style tops and empire waists all the time, and thinking you must have imagined a bump -- you didn't imagine it, but it's only a food baby, not a human baby.  I'm just fatter than I have been in a very long time. :P   I went off gluten in April and I've been sugar binging a lot to satisfy carb cravings. I'm getting that under control and in July I managed to halt the weight gain and this first week of August I've dropped 2 pounds back off.

I also started wearing kenisio tape all the time to help with my tendinitis/carpal tunnel symptoms and that makes me very reluctant to get sweaty working out because I have to wear them 5 days at a time and EWW.  
Because of that, I realized today as I climbed out of my mini van in the hospital parking lot to screw on the gas cap that I had left open and unscrewed when leaving the gas station an exit before the hospital exit, that I look like a conflicted accidental mother with unresolved issues... because I wear goth fingerless gloves all the time to cover up the tapes and keep them as germ-free as possible.

Not cool.

In fact, just flat out lame.

But I have about 10 pair in varying colors and levels of laciness that I've ordered that should be arriving soon so that I don't always look punk -- just odd.

Quinn's Work-At-Home job is panning out well. Last week we got to add to the savings account instead of

but he was pretty much tiny... 

pulling out of it and the next several months' bills are covered in income earned but on hold. Most internet income is on hold for a while. Some of it for 2 or 3 months.

I've also had a chance to play with eBay a lot. Since I'm out of storage space for my website I've only been picking up items I can turn over on eBay. That includes an ab machine this week that I made $40 profit on, which made for my first $100 day of profits on Sunday.  That was fun.
